Daren Cook
On 19 July 2024 we held our very first Art Supper Club in the riverside Stable Bar at Tewinbury Farm, where we chatted to artist and designer Daren Cook about his foray from the world of branding to Art. Daren is a First-class graduate of Central St. Martins School of Art and has spent much of his career working as a creative director for several global branding agencies.
His sharp branding instinct and graphic sensibilities are reflected in his simple, bold and occasionally cheeky work, which playfully explores the role of artists, collectors and a sometimes sceptical public in the current art market.
Stuart Jones
In Feb 2025 we welcomed abstract landscape painter Stuart Jones to our Supper Club. Stuart primarily works on large canvases, employing a mix of media such as spray paint, oil, household materials, and image transfers. He approaches the canvas with intensity, layering and pushing each piece to the brink of destruction, only to rebuild it into something he is ultimately satisfied with.
A self described Romantic painter, Stuart explores the sublime in his work, capturing the vastness and awe-inspiring power of nature, alongside concepts of dystopia and utopia.
