Peter Blake (b 1932) is a pop artist who co created the sleeve design for the Beatles’ Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. His work combines imagery from advertisements and popular culture with fine art. He has designed numerous covers for album sleeves including Oasis ‘Stop the Clocks’.
