Diptyque, Framed; Daren Cook 'A softer LOVE, 2022' & 'A softer dirty LOVE, 2022'

£1,070.00

The concept of LOVE is explored through the pairing of one painting with another, as if love itself is a pendulum oscillating between opposites.

The ‘perfect’ and the ‘imperfect’ coexisting as the truest of testaments to the human experience of love. Each piece resonates with the other, forging a vivid reflection of the enigmatic complexity that is love.

The message is a simple acknowledgement that true LOVE is inherently imperfect. It's only when we embrace Love's imperfections that we truely grasp the essense of it's beauty.

LOVE is unstoppable, irrepressible. LOVE conquers all.

Edition of 25 - mixed media on Hahnemühle Fine Art Photo Rag. Signed and stamped with NFT certificate of authenticity.

Please note these are two artworks, sold together. Both are 576 x 410mm and framed in white museum standard frames.

Born in England in 1969, a first class graduate of the world renowned Central Saint Martins School of art, Daren has spent much of his career working as a creative director for several global branding agencies. He was responsible for, amongst other things, the design of the iconic Orange telecommunications logo, and still works with high-profile clients around the world.

His sharp branding instinct and graphic sensibilities are reflected in his simple, bold and occasionally provocative work, which playfully explores the role of artists, collectors and a sometimes sceptical public in the current art market. Branding is about providing answers.

Daren’s art asks questions instead.
